NANA wHere arT ThoU...NANA

Oh yeah, i Forgot... I did went out and look for NANA dvds todae So i am not completely being lazy haha.

I went to buy some chinese cooked food from a restaurant near my house for me n my daddy dinner but the restaurant was really PACKED!! I waited almozt an hour inside jus to get my take-away food of 3 dishes but during my waiting time, I visit the dvd seller i regularly purchase my movies from.

He usually manage to have new dvd movies, drama series or even some animes but guess what, he's clueless bout NANA!! How could thiz be possible?!?! I guess NANA is not that popular in Medan yet so i canT really blame him but i am really disappointed! The owner of comic shop where i usually rent my comics from told me several daes ago that one of her customers has managed to buy NANA movies and its GOOD...man I am so JealouZ!!

I've loved NANA from the first tyme i set my eyes on them books...its created by Ai Yazawa and basically tellin the stories of two gals who shares the same name NANA but with very different characters. One is a rocker who is mature in thinkin, she's tomboy and she seems mean at times but she has the sweetest heart. The other Nana is a childish,cute gal who often over panickin for nothin, comin from some village and move to Tokyo, tryin to experience a better life, a better love and thank GOD, she found the other Nana to look after her, being her bestfren and light of her life. The story plot is awesome and beside this, the comic also invent two great rock bands featuring the rocker Nana's band and her boifren's band. I've listened to "Glamorous sky" the movie's soundtrack for Nana's band - Black Stones - and it sounds, well quite alrite but its really different for the perception I've summed up during my Nana's reading... I was hopin for other kinda rock, heavier deeper rock.

Oh yeah, I also love the rocker Nana's tattoo design. She has a lotus flower tattoo on her left upper arm and there's a deep and sweet story behind it. I really really like that tattoo and plans, somewhere in the near future, I can make a similar design somewhere on my body. So, goodbye butterfly design I've always wanted, Lotus flowa...here i comesss!!

WHat makes me crave so much to watch this movie is due to the fact dat MIKA NAKASHIMA is playin the rocker Nana's role. I've always like some of her music, and i really admire her eurasian-looks which is really rare now among Asian artistS. I am so curious of how she will act out in this movie, being have to play the role of a semi-gothic punk rocker star (which is so different from her own image). I did saw her CD singles for NANA in hmv some weeks ago and damnnn, she looks super duper good on the cover. In addition, i've read from the official nana website dat MIKA has won the BEST ACTRESS AWARD for her role in NANA in the 10th Japan Internet Movie Award. Good story plot, great actress...arghhhhh i so wantin to watch it so badly NOW!! check out Mika as NANA in the pix below...her face aint shown too clearly but doncha all think she does looks good? ^_^
